Industries / Medical & Eye Care
IT for practices that can't stop seeing patients.
Front desk, exam rooms, imaging equipment and practice software all have to work at 8am. We keep them running and keep patient data locked down.
What we see
What medical & eye care IT actually needs.
- /01
Practice software that's picky about everything
Practice management and EHR systems like OfficeMate and ExamWRITER often depend on a local server, specific Windows versions and mapped drives. Updates need to happen in the right order, on the right day.
- /02
Imaging devices on the network
Diagnostic equipment often runs its own older software and needs to talk to the practice system. It has to stay connected without being exposed to the rest of the network.
- /03
HIPAA technical safeguards
Encryption, access controls, audit logs, MFA and tested backups. We handle the technical side and document it for your compliance program.
- /04
Aging servers
A lot of practices still run their system on a server nearing end of life. Planning that replacement around your software vendor's requirements takes lead time.
