Managed IT / Monthly plans

Your IT department, on a monthly plan.

A predictable monthly plan that covers the maintenance, monitoring and help your business needs, so you stop paying for IT only after something breaks.

Most small businesses run IT the same way: nobody touches it until something stops working, then someone scrambles to find help. That's how a slow computer turns into a lost afternoon and a missed update turns into a security incident.

A monthly plan flips that around. Every computer and server gets an RMM agent so we can see problems coming, updates go in on a schedule, and when someone needs help they already know who to call and we already know their setup.

What's included

  • Continuous monitoring of computers and servers through RMM, with alerts we actually act on
  • Scheduled Windows and third-party patching, after hours
  • Managed security on every endpoint, including EDR
  • Help desk by phone, email or a support request, with remote sessions for quick fixes
  • Onsite visits when remote can't do it
  • New hire setups and departing employee offboarding
  • Vendor wrangling: ISP, phone provider, printer company, line-of-business software support
  • Hardware and software recommendations, and Microsoft licensing through our distributor
  • Regular check-ins on what's aging out, what's at risk and what to budget for

How a plan starts

It starts with a walk-through. We look at every computer, the network, email, backups and who has access to what. You get a plain-English summary of what's fine, what's risky and what we'd fix first.

Then we clean up: install monitoring, fix the obvious problems, document passwords and settings in a secure vault, and get everything onto the same update schedule. After that, it's maintenance, not firefighting.

After hours and emergencies

Normal hours are Monday through Friday, 9 to 5. When something's down after hours or on a weekend, plan clients have a way to reach us, and most emergencies can be handled remotely right away.

FAQ

Managed IT Services: common questions

How much does a managed IT plan cost?

It depends on how many people and computers you have and what's included, so we quote after the free assessment. Pricing is a flat monthly amount so you can budget for it, with anything outside the plan (like new projects) quoted up front.

Do I have to sign a long contract?

Talk to us about terms during the assessment. The goal is to keep you because the service is good, not because you're locked in.

We already have an IT person. Does this still make sense?

Often, yes. Plenty of offices have someone who's “good with computers” on top of their real job. A plan takes the maintenance and security work off their plate, and they still have someone to call.

Do you only work remotely?

No. Most day-to-day fixes happen remotely because it's faster for you, but we're local and come onsite for hardware, network work, new setups and anything that needs hands on it.
